I am a nutritional coach, athlete, and trainer who decided to start Lifestyle Nutrition
because of my own journey. Growing up as an athlete through my college years of both soccer and basketball, I always would compare myself to my teammates. Regardless of my talent level, I couldn’t help but notice or pay attention to the fact that I was a bit “chunkier” than the rest of them.
In my own efforts to have my body represent the “athlete” I knew I was, I ventured through multiple fad diets, excessive hours of exercising, and (surprise, surprise) developed a pretty harmful relationship with both food and exercise. Regardless of all the miles I ran each week, exercise classes I attended, and minimal calories I was eating – I never found success.
With the help of CrossFit and some amazing nutrition coaches along the way, I was able to lose 40+ pounds and finally develop a healthy, happy, and successful relationship with food. Through this journey, I found my own passion in nutrition and helping others.
This passion has only grown since starting Lifestyle Nutrition. My goal is not to direct with set meal plans, restrictions, and ‘one-size-fits-all’ diets. Instead I want to educate our clients on food, support them through the major changes they are making, and celebrate with them when they see success.
