My goal through this process was first to lose weight, mainly body fat, but also to just learn to be more aware and educated in regards to the types of foods I was putting into my body and understanding how to read labels on food items more specifically.
I’ve lost about 8 pounds, but my body has changed so much more than those 8 pounds represent. I have learned portion control, I have gained an understanding of the different types of foods I eat, and I’ve done it all during planning a wedding!
Taking control of my diet also caused me to become more consistent in the gym which only helped my progress.
Having a coach that was down to earth, realistic, but still holds you to the expectations you have for yourself has been so helpful throughout this whole process. I’m so glad that I decided to do it!
