I started the program a year and a half ago. I was not planning to, but my husband was doing the challenge and pushed me into it. I did want to lose weight so that my clothes would fit better, but it seemed like way too much work to me. I had been trying to lose weight for years but was never able to keep motivated. Why would this be any different? Well it was different! I learned the fat and carb values of so many foods and learned how I could tailor the way I ate to meet my goals. When I realized the carbs and fats in certain foods, they became not worth it (and downright unhealthy!). As a result, I’ve lost 30lbs. and kept it off. I love the way clothes look and fit now and have significantly more energy! I have adjusted the way I eat and don’t feel like I’m missing anything. I allow myself to cheat a bit and always make up for it in the end, as I’ve been maintaining my new weight for at least a year now.
